He is registered AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association), member of NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) and has a Certificate of Enrollment National Reining Breeders Classic. His pedigree includes his sire Whiz N Tag Chex, a two million dollar NRHA sire and hall of fame silver medalist at WEG (World Equestrian Games). Also, his dam Mizzen Shine was a finalist in the NRHA International Open Futurity, a money earner in the NRHA Open Futurity, and a leading producer in 2009. Also in his line are the outstanding horses Topsail Whiz, Topsail Cody, and Shining Spark. Originally purchased from the breeder as three coming four year old Apollo was finished as a Reiner and showed the NRHA as three year old. He was then purchased by a novice rider and has spent the last several years of his career showing the pleasure ranch, ranch trail, ranch conformation, and horsemanship classes earning top places. Apollo clips, trailers well, is good for farrier and vet, and is easy going at shows.
